Carol's Yoga Resume
Carol Bender, Ph.D., eRYT-500 (Registered Yoga Teacher) has been an educator and scientist for over years. She has completed advanced studies in hatha yoga and is also certified to teach Integrative Yoga Therapy. She has been teaching stress reduction techniques, including gentle yoga, breathing exercises, and meditation since 2004 at Oklahoma State University, in corporate settings, medical centers, and her own yoga studio. She is an avid writer, editor, and she also delivers workshops on transition and change. Her teaching style combines gentle hatha yoga with breathing exercises designed to activate and energize the body. Carol knows the benefits of a regular, daily yoga practice, and has a deep desire to share this healing experience with others. She has a special interest in the ability of yoga to combat depression, slow the aging process, and to bring balance and joy into daily life.
